Mr.
Baratta
is a graduate of
Georgia Institute

he earned both a
Bachelor of Electrical
Engineering in 1994
and a Master of
Science degree in
Electrical
Engineering in 1996,
specializing in
optics, digital
signal processing,
and computer
engineering.
He graduated cum
laude with a
Juris Doctor degree
from Georgia State
University in 2006.
Before
attending law
school, Mr. Baratta
worked in
engineering and
sales at Nortel
Networks and Qtera
(a venture capital
funded start-up
acquired by Nortel
in 2000 in the
fields of optical
and data networking.
Mr.
Baratta focuses his
practice on patent
prosecution in

areas, such as
